Thoughtful Snacks got started in September 2020 as a family business with Enrique Trevino and his parents. They got started selling their signature product, Coco Chops: air-fried chocolate covered pork rinds, at farmers markets in and around San Antonio. Shortly after that, they started selling to local stores as well. Since then, they’ve expanded their product line to include chocolate covered banana chips, chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate covered hazelnuts, and chocolate covered dried apple rings. They had to temporarily halt wholesale operations last year, but they will be getting started on that again very soon. You’ll soon be able to find Coco Chops in Squeak’s Convenience Store and Chicho Boys Fruit Market. You can also order from their website: thoughtfulsnacksstore.com and you can find them at the local farmers markets they attend. They also have an Etsy store at thoughtfulsnacks.etsy.com.
